BASYS Processing Named One of Ingram’s 2022 Best Companies to Work For

20 May BASYS Processing Named One of Ingram’s 2022 Best Companies to Work For

BASYS Processing is honored to be included in Ingram’s 2022 “Best Companies to Work For” in the Kansas City region. The leading business magazine in Missouri and Kansas received submissions from numerous businesses throughout the region but only selected 18 companies to recognize, including large, mid-size and small companies.

For the submissions process, companies were asked to discuss company policies, practices and demographics, as well as their philosophies in the following areas: management practices, training and development, pay and benefits, work environment, financial outlook and community service.

BASYS highlighted its new state-of-the-art headquarters, complete with self-serve barista, a gym, a covered patio, treadmill desks and more. The generous benefits package includes competitive pay, a 401(k) program with company match, flexible working arrangements and a PTO policy that encompasses vacation and holidays. The company also provides a vacation bonus to employees every five years.

BASYS bolsters camaraderie with monthly catered lunches, holiday celebrations, an annual employee-recognition party and a preference for filling managerial positions from within the company. BASYS attributes the latter to its industry-leading retention of both its employees and its clients and partners.

“We are proud to differentiate ourselves from the competition by keeping over 90 percent of our clients that continue to process payments in an industry that often sees client retention 20 percent or more lower than ours,” says Patrick Redd, Director of Marketing.

BASYS encourages employees to develop their skills by providing online learning and development courses, a management training program, assistance with certification programs and other continuing education. The company prioritizes philanthropy, contributing more than six figures annually to multiple charities and events. BASYS also makes a $500 annual charitable contribution in each employee’s name.

BASYS Processing was recognized as one of six “Mid-Size Companies” on Ingram’s list, alongside Alphapointe, CrossFirst Bank, GBA Companies, Midway Ford Truck Center and ReeceNichols Real Estate.
